The excitement from the launch stayed with me long after I left Pavilion Arena. On the night of 30 July, our PSM chatroom was still buzzing. Everyone was talking about the incredible launch, sharing photos and videos and counting down the hours to the official release on digital streaming platforms. It felt like we were all still living in that magical moment together.

I did not actually plan to stay up for the release, but I happened to still be awake past midnight. Out of habit, I checked the DSPs and there it was. Moving On was finally available for streaming. Even though I had already heard the full track at the launch, I could not resist pressing play.

Hearing the song at home brought the memories of the launch flooding back. The bold disco-inspired beats instantly lifted my mood, and the playful “na na na naa, na na na naaa” chorus that had been stuck in my head since the 30th felt even more infectious in full. The track carries a fresh, danceable energy but still has that unmistakable Sheila warmth that makes you feel connected to her music instantly.
For those streaming on Apple Music, Moving On is available in Dolby Atmos, which makes the experience even more immersive. Listening with spatial audio feels like the music surrounds you, and you can hear every beat and layer of the production so clearly.

What makes this release special to me is how it perfectly reflects Sheila’s evolution as an artist. After 40 years, she is still daring to explore new sounds, connecting with younger listeners, and giving long-time fans like us something new to love. The song is fun, uplifting, and empowering all at once.

For me and my fellow PSM members, finally streaming Moving On felt like a continuation of that unforgettable launch night. It is already on repeat in my playlist, and I know it will be the soundtrack to many happy moments in the weeks to come. This single is more than just a release. It is a proud and personal milestone for us as fans, witnessing Sheila Majid open a bold new chapter in her legendary journey.
