Great Music, Wonderful Performances and Good Times with PSM Friends!

What better way to spend a Saturday night than enjoying Sheila Majid's music with good friends?

Last night, a few of us from Planet Sheila Majid (PSM) got together at Jao Tim in Kuala Lumpur for A Tribute to Sheila Majid, an evening celebrating Sheila's music, particularly her legendary Konsert Legenda from 1991.

And we had a great time!

Two Talented Ladies, One Great Night!

Taking centre stage were Mazlina and Puspall, who did a fantastic job performing some of Sheila's most memorable songs.

Now, we all know that singing Sheila's songs is no easy task. Her unique vocal style, arrangements and musical phrasing are quite something to take on. But both ladies certainly rose to the occasion!

The evening featured favourites like Pengemis Muda, Jelingan Manja, Tiru Macam Saya, Antara Anyir Dan Jakarta, Nada, Bahagia, Legenda, Aku Cinta Padamu and Warna.

And of course, the evening wouldn't be complete without an encore! Mazlina and Puspall wrapped up the night with Sinaran and Aruel Ariel, giving the crowd a wonderful finish to an already enjoyable evening!

Sparkle Was Something Special!

I must give a special mention to Sparkle, which was easily one of my favourite moments of the evening!

What a performance!

It was such a treat hearing this song performed live, and Mazlina and Puspall were absolutely fantastic throughout the night.

Both ladies brought their own style and energy to Sheila's songs, and the talented band did a wonderful job accompanying them.

Well done, ladies! You were brilliant!

Great Music, Great Crowd, Great Company!

Another thing that made the night so enjoyable was the crowd. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time, and the atmosphere at Jao Tim was just lovely.

For us from PSM, it was also another opportunity to get together, catch up, have a few laughs and simply enjoy each other's company.

That's one thing I've always loved about Planet Sheila Majid. Over the years, Sheila's music has brought so many of us together, and what started as a shared love for her songs has turned into some wonderful friendships.

And the timing of this tribute couldn't have been better! With the upcoming MPO Benefit Concert: Sheila Majid 35th Legenda Anniversary on 27 November, followed by an additional show on 30 November, this was a lovely little warm-up for what's to come!

Sheila's Music Never Gets Old!

It's always wonderful to see talented singers and musicians paying tribute to Sheila Majid.

Her songs have been part of our lives for decades, yet they still sound just as enjoyable today. And while there will only ever be one Sheila Majid, it's always a pleasure to hear other performers celebrating her music in their own way.

A big thank you to Mazlina, Puspall, the band and the team at Jao Tim for such an enjoyable evening.

And to our fellow PSM friends who came along, thanks for the wonderful company and all the laughs!

Nothing too fancy, just a really good night out with wonderful music and wonderful people.
